Sales & Marketing Manager for Oman
- Qualification:- Graduate + MBA in Marketing with 12 – 15 years of experience in driving sales of Marble and/or Granite (be it in slabs / tiles / finished products), preferably in markets of Far East Asia, China, Gulf countries, Europe and USA.
Responsibility:- Be the face of the Company in the international market and build the Product and Company brand so as to carve-out a market share and to drive growth in volumes in different assigned geographies. Would be driving sales in the Regional / Geographical Sales and Marketing function assigned to him, with prime focus on Exports of Marble slabs and tiles / finished products to the designated markets in the world. Will be responsible for revenue generation and collection from the designated market/customers.
Experience & Skills required :-
Must have hands-on experience in driving and generating sales for Stone products Marble and Granite in international markets such as the Gulf market, Far East, US, Europe and China.
Must be strong in and passionate about his Communication and Presentation skills for Marble as a product and to represent the business in the market PLUS to build the brand and goodwill for our product & Company in designated geographies.
Must have good product knowledge and market knowledge to drive new products in the market. Sound Knowledge of various marble / granite varieties its quality standard, its usage and market demand in different geographies etc. is essential.
Must be able to draw market intelligence for consistent performance and to grow the market share.
Must have ideas and flair for marketing products in new markets so as to carve out a market share for products and to drive the market share consistently for regular top line and bottom line growth.
Must have strong networking skills to build relations and work in crosscultural, multi-national market & business environment.
Must have strong analytical skills to understand and forecast the market behavior so as to generate business and grow the market share.
Must have strong negotiation skills to cut through deals with sustainable profitability, without burning bridges in the market place.
Must have good knowledge on rules and regulations for export and import of materials / goods in different geographies and related documentation so as to guide back-end team and to understand the documentation requirements for on time delivery to customers.
Work experience in multi-cultural teams / in the Gulf, Middle East will be an added advantage.
