    Roles & Responsibilities
    Duties and Responsibilities

    1.The overall supervision of all existing Public Utilities Corporations Stores and ensuring that goods are properly taken charge and issued.
    2.Receiving and issuing of stock items and maintaining proper records of these transactions in manual records and Inventory software.
    3.The supervision and control of the Input of receipts & issues carried out by the sub-ordinates.
    4.Provide logistical support to the procurement sections and related outside agencies.
    5.Ensuring goods received are properly stored in the designated locations and new items are tagged properly.
    6.Ensuring that the sub-ordinates at Stores keep the stores in good condition and safe guarded from any threat of damage and loss of stored items.
    7.Ensuring proper controls are in place in their respective store and make sure their stock records are kept up to date at all times.
    8.Ensuring that the continuous and ad-hoc stock-checks are carried out under supervision and that any discrepancies are investigated and reported.
    9.Advising the Stores Manager on items, which have reached the re-order level.
    10.Producing monthly inventory reports for Heads of Divisions and Sections.
    11.Deputizing the Stores manager in his / her absence
