    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    – with 5-8 yrs experience as Executive Chef in a Five Start Hotel.

    – Nationality: INDIAN

    Responsibilities
    1. Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
    2. Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
    3. Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
    4. Supervise kitchen staffs activities
    5. Managing and training Kitchen staff.
    6. Rectify arising problems or complaints
    7. Give prepared plates the final touch
    8. Perform administrative duties
    9. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    10. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
    11. Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

    Requirements
    1. Proven working experience as Executive Chef / Sous chef
    2. Excellent record of kitchen management
    3. Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
    4. Capable of delegating multiple tasks
    5. Communication and leadership skills
    6. Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
    7. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
    8. BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate.
